I started thinking about how I spend my time, how my kids spend their time and how our society spends its time. And along the way I found a great video that breaks down the cultural change for all of us in time and explains how so much has changed with the way we spend time… and what we can do about it.

We talk about kindness but this young man is doing it. While teenagers sat on the bank laughing at the struggling man in the current trying to make it to a dock, another young man took action. Included below are two dramatic videos, first of the rescue, and then of the meeting of the two men later in the hospital. What no one knew, not even the teens who laughed on the bank as the man fought to survive, was that the drowning man was developmentally disabled.
